Houchang Haghighi Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 7, 2007.
HAGHIGHI--Houchang, December 18, 1938 -March 2, 2007. A great man, an unparalleled father and an amazing husband, Houchang came to America in search of a better life and left this world having bettered the lives of all those who knew him. His family and helping those who were without was his life's passion and true labor -a labor the fruits of which won't be fully appreciated for generations and generations. A great man passed away and no one knew; there were no news alerts, parades or holidays in his honor but make no mistake -he was great. His true labor will be carried on by his family and loved ones as he watches over from a better place. Rest in peace, Dad. Amen.

I am thinking about you and your family during this difficult time and sending my heartfelt sympathy. I have seen you handle challenges in the past and know you will find your strength to make it through this difficult period. I’m certain that amongst your fathers many proud moments, the most enduring and poignant, have been observing you maneuver the various obstacles of life. You set high goals for yourself and thus far, you have tackled them with grace and ease. Seek comfort in knowing that your father fulfilled his biggest dreams by raising responsible, thoughtful and loving children. His pride in you has always been reflected in your smile. Stay strong and well my brother….

Holding you in my thoughts,
