Howard and Irene, and the Cargill family have been life long friends every sinse my family and I moved to Bryan in 1978. We worshiped, and had many meals togather. The Cargill family holds a cherished place in our hearts. With deepest respect, The John Carpenter Family.

It was my honor and privilege to know, work for and learn from this most beloved man of God. He was and is a role model as well as my mentor in most areas of this life; embodying the word " Integrity " as no other I've ever known. Tommy and Janie, at such a sorrowful time for you - our sincere regrets. We are deeply sorrowed for you and your family. We shall remain prayerful for you all through your ordeal. We will never forget your family's kindness and presence when we were experiencing grief over the loss of our father.
Dr. Howard prayed a touching prayer at our father's funeral (Bob Campbell Sr.). We talk about that prayer when we remember our father. Our prayer, as well, is that Jesus will speak to God in behalf of your kind hearted father in such a manner as the prayer he prayed for our father.

Our family has been honored to be a part of the Cargill family when our daughter became a Cargill. Truly a wonderful family. Howard (Daday) and Irene (Mimi) always a blessing to be around! Howard, we will miss you very much!!

I met Dr. Cargill and his wife over 35 years ago while attending Steep Hollow Church with my sister and her husband. I will never forget the kindness that Dr. Cargill showed to all people. This carried over in the way he handled his business also. I will have fond memories of him. My thoughts and prayers will be with the family.

Dr. Cargill was always a very kind and friendly gentleman every time I saw him and Mrs. Cargill out at their ranch walking in the afternoon. The community has lost a good man. We will miss him.

Mere words can not describe our loss of Dr Cargill, however I wish to offer my deepest condolence to Ms. Irene and family at their loss. Dr Cargill inspired many lives that he touched in our community and I am extremely proud to have had the opportunity to know and work with him. He was my friend and I valued his opinions and wisdom. We lived on Irene and Howard's ranch while my husband was in Vet. school. They took us in as part of their family. We thank God for leading us to them and are blessed to have had them in our lives. We will miss him so. Our prayers go out to Irene and all the family.

Dr Howard was a good and faithful man. Having known him for many years, as a veterinarin, a church leader, and a friend, helping with my parents in their declining years. Many memories he leaves behind. He will not be forgotten.
