HOWARD BURTON, M.D.
On Monday, March 12, 2007, age 73; Son of the late Erwin & Thelma Eisen of Uniontown, PA. Loving father of B. Alan Eisen, Michael C. Eisen & his fiancé, Kelly O'Rourke, all of Pittsburgh and the late Edward B. Eisen of Pittsburgh and late Marc H. Eisen of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by his former wife, Joan Eisen, daughter-in-law, Randi Eisen, his grandson Spencer Edward Eisen, his twin granddaughters Sydney & Sabrina Eisen, all of Columbus, OH. Also survived by a few cousins and many friends. He was a graduate of Farragut Naval Academy of New Jersey, Washington and Jefferson College and the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine. He interned at St. Margaret Memorial Hospital and his radiology and fellowship at the Veteran's Administration Hospital on University Drive followed. He then became a partner in Pittsburgh Radiology Associates and practiced at Montefiore Hospital for 24 years, specializing in both angiography and mammography. Later he joined the University and practiced until he retired. Howard had a Black Belt in Tae Kwan Do. He was a cross country runner, skier and expert photographer. He also was an avid Bridge player. He was beloved by all who knew him and will be sadly missed. Services at RALPH SCHUGAR CHAPEL, INC., 5509 Centre Ave., Shadyside on Tuesday at 2:00 PM. Visitation one hour prior to services (1-2PM). Interment B'nai Israel Cemetery.
