We met Howard and Selma in Hawaii at Pearl Harbor 5 years ago. I am so sorry for your loss. We really want to say Howard truly loved Selma and his entire family. He was proud to be Jewish and proud of his military service. Yes, even in Hawaii, he ate motza ball soup. He was fun and kind, funny, and happy. We will remember him always.

Dear Selma,
Everyone here at Closets who had the opportunity to meet Howard was made happier for the experience. We are so sorry for your loss.
I am so glad that I came out to the car to see Howard for one last moment a few weeks ago. Sheryl

Mrs. Greenberg,
I was shocked to see Howards obit posted by the mailbox. I just ran into the two of you in the garage both of us bringing in our groceries. I could always tell the two of you were a very loving couple. I know you will miss him. If there is anything I can do for you let me know. May Howard rest in peace.
Your Neighbor,
Tom Stratton #47

I went to Dr. Greenberg when I needed contacts. He was a wonderful doctor. When my daughter needed contacts I took her to Dr. Greenberg which was over twenty years ago. I always remember him saying after we put in our contacts, now look out the window, how does it look! When he retired we were patients of his daughter and she was just as nice and so friendly.

Dear Mrs. Greenberg,
My husband and I send our condolences to you and your family. Dr. Greenberg was my eye doctor since I was a little girl and he made a huge difference in my life. I was diagnosed with an aggressive eye disease after my college graduation and am visually impaired. I will never forget his compassion and encouragement which helped me to deal with my situation and continue my life. He was extraordinary in his professional skills---a perfectionist. He passed these same wonderful attributes to his daughter. What I most recall is at almost every visit, Dr. Greenberg spoke of his deep love for you, Mrs. Greenberg. You were the inspiration for his life in so many ways. My husband and I salute this WW II hero, a wonderful man who lived an exemplary life. He will always hold a special place in my mind and heart. Our prayers are with you and your family.
Sincerely,
Donald and Vanessa (Yuhasz) Fiebiger

Dear Selma, and family
Words cannot express our sympathy in our loss of our dear friend. From the first time we saw him when he fitted our daughter with her first pair of contact lenses, some forty-four years ago, we knew then what a kind and compassionate person he was. Our prayers will be with you, Selma, and your family, in your loss.
With our warmest regards,
Rhoda and Sidney Gelman
