Howard Merle Johnson Jr., born on October 21, 1970 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Peggy M. Johnson and Howard M. Johnson, Sr, passed away at age 48 on January 26, 2019. Howard graduated from McNicholas High School in 1989 and attended classes at Cincinnati State. He was in the I.T. industry and worked as a Computer Operations Manager at Wells Fargo. Howard is survived by his sons, Kevin and Nicholas; sister, Patti Johnson Doubet (John); brother, Jeffrey Johnson; sister, Lori Johnson Stammen (Greg); seven nieces and nephews: Molly, Andrew, Cara, Emma, Abigail, Joshua and Makena. Howard loved his sons. He was an avid coffee drinker and a trivia fanatic. He enjoyed playing golf and watching UK basketball. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the visitation on Monday, February 4th from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 6531 Beechmont Avenue, Cincinnati. A memorial service will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Guardian Angels Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Howard M. Johnson, Jr. Memorial Fund. Donations can be dropped off at any 5/3 Bank location or mailed to: Jeff Johnson 1368 Minaret Drive Cincinnati, Ohio 45230.

I worked with Howard only a short time. However in that time I could tell he had a good sense of humor. He will be missed by all of us. My condolences and prayers to out to his family and friends.

I did not know Howard very long, but in the short time I knew him I know he was a joy to work with, and seemed to have a very gentle soul. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends.
