Howard Krause (August 10, 1930 - July 1, 2025)

Howard Krause, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, in West Palm Beach, Florida, at the age of 94. Born to Abraham and Rose Krause in Baltimore, Maryland, on August 10, 1930, Howard lived a full and meaningful life shaped by family, friendship, and a lifelong passion for tennis.

He was a proud and loving father to Linda Brown (Steve Brown), Ricky Krause, Amy Krause, and David Krause (Amy Jamar Krause), and a caring stepfather to Karen O'Dea, Margie Black (John Black), and Betsy Baron (John Baron). Howard was deeply devoted to his grandchildren-Michael Brown, Melissa Brown, Josh Brown, Justin Krause, Rachel Krause, Lauren Saltzman, Oliver Baron, and Andrew Baron-and his great-grandchildren-Harper and Oliver Brown, Benjamin and Grace Saltzman, and Ellie, Lucy, and Coco Baron-who brought him endless pride and joy.

Howard's love for tennis was well known and remained a vibrant part of his life into his later years. Whether on the court or off, he was known for his warmth, humor, and generous spirit.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Krause, with whom he shared many happy years.

A virtual memorial service to honor Howard's life will be held at Beth El in Boca Raton, Florida, on August 10, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Details for joining the service will be shared closer to the date.

Howard's memory will remain a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
