Howard W. Perrault, age 89, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2012 at Gulfside Regional Hospice, Zephyrhills, Florida. He was born March 24, 1922 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a son of the late Fletcher and Matilda (Fyten) Perrault. He was a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He began his career with US Rubber and went on to work for Stauffer Chemical, living in Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Illinois. Upon retiring, he made his home in Conway residing in Myrtle Trace since 1988. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Conway, and the Knights of Columbus. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Kenneth, Jerome and Ralph as well as his sister, Florence.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Faye, daughter Priscilla (Alan) Towner of San Antonio, Florida, son William (Donna) Perrault of Camarillo, California, stepdaughter Diana (Norman) Taylor of Mt. Prospect, IL, stepson Roger(Kathy) Shalk, of Buffalo Grove, IL and stepson Daniel Shalk of Phoenix, Arizona. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will take place at St. James Catholic Church, Conway on Friday, February 24th at 2 PM. A reception will follow where the family will receive friends at the Church Parish Center. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to: Gulfside Regional Hospice, Development Department, 6117 Trouble Creek Road, New Port Richey, FL 34653. Internment will follow at the Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Westmont, IL.
