Howard S. Shubin, of Lake Worth, FL, and longtime resident of Huntingdon Valley, PA passed away peacefully on June 1st at the age of 88. He was the son of Betty and Charles Shubin. Howard grew up in the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia, attended Central High School and then Temple University. After fulfilling his military service, he joined his family's real estate business. Howard met his wife, Emmie Borska, at Lindenmere overnight camp and they were together for over 70 years, including 66 years of marriage.

Howard was an avid tennis player and was a long-time member of Logan Tennis Club where he served as President and Delaware Valley Tennis Club where he served on the Board. He enjoyed spending the summers in Ventnor, NJ with friends and family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Emmie, his daughter Jodi Nack (Gary), son Allen Shubin (Linda), grandchildren Bryan Nack (Lisa), Jennifer Nack Forman (Brandon), Callie Shubin (David) and Lissie Shubin, two great grandsons, Levi and Tyler Nack, brothers Saul and David (Ellen) Shubin and sister-in-law Mickie Weinstein.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 4th at 11 a.m. at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Rd., Boynton Beach, FL followed by Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, 11520 State Rd., Boynton Beach, FL. Please join the family immediately following cemetery services at the home of Linda and Allen Shubin at 5161 Suffolk Dr., Boca Raton FL. Celebrations of Life will also be held at the home of Allen and Linda Shubin on Sunday, June 8th at 100 S. Argyle Ave., Margate City NJ and the home of Jodi and Gary Nack on Monday, June 9th at 117 Whitney Lane, Richboro PA both beginning at 4 pm.

Donations may be made in Howard's memory to the Alzheimer's Foundation or a charity of your choice.
