Howard and MaryKay arrived among the earliest residents of Southshore Falls.
They both impressed all that they met of being leaders.
I can just imagine how many students Howard motivated not only for classroom skills but that of being responsible citizens and patriotic Americans.
Howard as well as MaryKay were examples to us all by their regular attendance at the gym and leading by example..
Howard was always a perfect gentlemen; had a ready smile and laugh, and impressed us all that he was a very confident man with his abilities. Howard, was the type of citizen that you would join in time of trouble.
We all feel that our Howard Snider was
a Distinguished American. We miss him!

Grandpa...I miss you so much :*( I think about you every day. I don't know my life without you in it so it's been a huge adjustment for me but I know you are shining down on us in heaven and watching over our every move. I would give anything to be able to hold your hand and give you a hug again. This world needs more people like you and I thank God every day for allowing me to have such a wonderful and supportive grandfather. I know we told each other "I love you" right before you left us which I will never forget but just know that I love you and I will continue to miss you every day until I see your handsome face again...

Grandpa,

It was tough this holiday season knowing you had entered the kingdom and I couldn't come down to see you before that happen. But being able to spend my 25th Birthday with you and Grandma before you passed is something I will cherish for the rest of my life. Seems like yesterday you were here trying Miso soup and catching shrimp in your mouth.

You given me fond memories I will take with me forever. You had such a tremendous sense of humor, from cheating at cards and then telling us about it afterwards to watching college football nothing was better than hearing you laugh. Thank you Grandpa for the joy you brought into my life and every other life you've touched. It's with a heavy heart that I am saying goodbye to you on here and not in person. But there won't be a day that goes by that I won't remember how lucky I was and still am to have a Grandfather as caring and gracious as you.

Until I see you again...your loving grandson,

Matt

Hello my loving grandfather, I know I have already written here and spoke to you and about you at your beautiful funeral but I wanted you to know that every day I am missing you. It's hard being at your and grandma's house but just know I am with grandma every week and helping her get through each day. Please help us to be strong and help guide us to be able to live the rest of our lives without you by our sides until we see you again. Grandpa Snider I love you more than life itself and I look forward to seeing your bright smile and handsome face again when the time comes. Until then our family and I will continue to help grandma through her pain and live on with the wonderful memories you have given us.

Grandpa Snider,

There are so many things that I will miss about you. I'm so glad to have stumbled into this family almost 7 years ago. I hope you know how much I have enjoyed my time with you and how much I love and appreciate everything you've done for me over the years. I'm going to miss playing cards without you, hearing your hysterical laugh and receiving your big hugs. Thank you for welcoming me into your family and making me feel like I was another one of your grandchildren. I love you always and forever and I will see you again one day.

Barbara and I were so saddened when informed of Howard's passing. Losing an educator is a loss for the hundreds of students that he motivated for life's challenges. Then in his senior years he motivated fellow retirees at Southshore Falls in his disciplined exercise regimen and in his cheerful greeting to all he met each day.
With sadness we also have many reasons to celebrate the many contributions and achievements of his life..My best salute is rendered to a noble citizen and friend..
