Hubert Chiasson Jr. Obituary
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017 from 9 a.m. until funeral time at Ordoyne Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
He is survived by his brother, Thomas Chiasson and wife Darlene; godchild, Kristy Chiasson Dufrene and husband Shane and their children, Tanner and Kamryn Dufrene; nephew, Glen Knott and wife Lisa and their children, Moira, Aimee and Sydney Knott; niece, Jodie Graves and husband Will and their children, Jeremy Giambrone and wife Beth, Jackie Bailey and husband Charlie and their children and numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Esther Cancienne Chiasson; sister, Carolyn Toups; niece, Tina Knott Trosclair; great niece Madeline Knott; and grandparents.
Hubert spent his lifetime building and helping others. He gave of his time of his skills through his trade of carpentry. He was a lifetime and exempt member for the Thibodaux Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the Thibodaux Knights of Columbus. He had a passion of cooking and benefitted many through the organizations which he belonged to and benefits throughout our community.
