Hubert Turner Nash LEBANON, Va. Hubert Turner Nash, age 63, of the Corner Section, passed away at his home on Monday, May 6, 2013, after a long illness. Hubert is the son of Odell Yates Nash and the late Clyde Nash. Hubert is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Nash; and a brother, Sherman Lewis Nash. He is survived by his mother, Odell Nash; one brother, Gerald Wayne Nash and wife, Sue Miller Nash; one sister, Catherine Alley and husband, Tim Alley; one nephew, Alan Nash; five nieces, Crystal Nash Seaton, Amy Nash Keen, Holly Nash Buchanan, Brandi Clatterbuck Halloway, AnnMarie Clatterbuck Widener; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Hubert was a land surveyor and owned his own survey company. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School, Southwest Virginia Community College and East Tennessee State University. Friends and family will be received at Combs Funeral Service of Lebanon, on Wednesday night, May 8 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. immediately prior to the funeral at the funeral home chapel. Committal and burial services will be held at Russell Memorial Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 9. Anyone wishing to attend the committal and burial service is asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 a.m. to go in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charlie Jackson, Steve Gillespie, Alan Nash, John Adams, Bill Gilmer and Andy Parris. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Danny Yates, Doug Davis and Skip Harless. In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Hubert may be made to: Oak Grove Baptist Church, 4154 River Mountain Rd., Lebanon, VA 24266.
