I will always remember growing up flipping baseball cards with you. In addition, I appreciated your competitive spirit when used to have fun by playing many ping pong matches. RIP my friend.

Hugh was an amazing man. His kindness was contagious and he always lit up the room. Hugh was amazing with my children and I won´t forget the impact he made on myself and my family. I loved Hugh like anyone else in my family. I will miss you a lot and I know you´re with me everyday.

Hugh and I worked in Bellcore together. He had a sharp witty personality that was unmistakable.
During this time a bunch of us would determine where to go out to.
Hugh would say Tiki Bar .
And off we would go
The following week let's go fishing ....
He loved any reason tonbe on the ocean front and just enjoyed the simple things that most took for granted .
I'm.otoud to have known him and been his friend .
I will miss my friend and his crazy fun nutty attitude .
But I'll take that over most I see today
Love you buddy .
Till we meet again

Hugh was very loving toward his family and mine. He enjoyed nature as well to the fullest extent. He enjoyed feeding and observing animals in the backyard. He loved his aquarium and fishing as well and looked forward to fishing with his friend. He was a very spontaneous and fun man and his company, my family and I will miss very much. We shared a lot of good times and memorable occasions. He was always looking ahead with a positive gentle spirit. And his cookies were amazing!

When I think of Hugh, I picture him with a big smile. He would walk into a room with a big smile, would give you a big kiss and hug. I think of his delicious snickerdoodle cookies, like Maurie mentioned. He will spend hours/days baking these cookies, from scratch, put them in taperwares/tins and give them to family and friends. Our kids, Julia and Ryan LOVED his banana pie. He made it a few times for them, his last one he made was for Ryan's Graduation Party this past June. He shared the recipe with them, they will make it this coming Thanksgiving. He was thoughtful & funny, and as many said already, he loved his family. So many funny stories, to tell...He will be missed.

Hugh and I called ourselves the outlaws. We were the first in-laws to marry Mele cousins and spent many happy family holidays together with the Mele bunch. Hugh wasca luminous soul who brought happiness to those around him.
