Hugo "Hugh" J. Angle

Hugo Angle, 95, passed away Dec. 2, 2004, in South Pines, N.C.

Hugh was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Beatrice Angle, and his wife of 28 years, Lina Angle. He is survived by sons, Dr. Hugh V. Angle of Southern Pines, N.C., and James D. Angle of Aurora, Ohio. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Laura Tomcufcik of Bainbridge, Ohio, Mark Angle of Tampa, Fla., Scott Angle of Chicago, Ill., Greg Angle of Pi nehurst, N.C., and Cathy Brown of Raeford, N.C.; four great- grandchildren, Jimmy, Joey, and Jonathan Tomcufcik, and Zackary Angle.

Born in Richmond, Va., on Sept. 13, 1909, to the late Joseph and Lillian Angle, Hugh attended Benadictine Military Academy. Hugh married the late Lina sumerow of Rich mond, Va., in 1934. After mov ing to Cleveland, Ohio, in 1938, Hugh worked for the Chesa peake and Ohio Railroad as an administrative assistant and re tired in 1974. He will be remembered for his love of family and his great sense of humor.

There will be no public services. The family requests that donations may be made in Hugh's memory to First Health Hospice Foundation, 150 Applecross Rd., Pinehurst, N.C. 28374.
