TYLER Ð Graveside services for the Rev. Hugo "Tony" Weiss, 69, of Tyler will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005, in Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery with Brother Fred Harris officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Weiss was born Sept. 26, 1935, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005, in Tyler, where he had resided about 30 years. He was affiliated with the Christ Mission Church and had served 22 years in the U.S. Army. He was a lifetime member of Hawaii Wildlife & Game Warden, and he was a minister, a Christian drug and alcohol counselor and an organizer of Vets For Vets. The Rev. Weiss was preceded in death by his parents, Nicoli and Julia Sangenetto. He is survived by his wife, Dolores "Dee" Weiss of Tyler; his sons and daughters-in-law, Mitchell and Robin Weiss of Tyler, Paul and Debby Weiss of Farmingville, N.Y., Michael Kemper of Carrollton, Jeramiah Kemper of Huntsville and Bobby and Crystal Kemper of Tyler; his daughters, Sharon Rosado of St. Lucie, Fla., Julie and Danny Brittain of Murchison, Tonya and Dan Handorf of Tyler, Toni Self of Longview, Carla LaRue of Longview and Kathy and Bobby Ross of Gaston, S.C.; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Judy Voyt of New York; and a nephew. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 4425 W. Airport Freeway, Suite 130, Irving, TX 75062.
