On June 27, 2022, beloved Hunter Scott Venturellli passed away in his home in Arvada, Colorado.
Hunter loved being a personal trainer/nutritional advisor at Commit Fitness in Denver. Helping people reach their personal goals made him feel fulfilled and happy. Hunter grew up in Pacific Palisades, California, and attended Brentwood School and Palisades Charter High School. He received his degree from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
For fun, he played in two basketball leagues, regularly cooked healthy gourmet dinners for friends at his apartment, surfed, snowboarded, and watched sports on TV. He was a leader amongst his friends for his charismatic and caring personality. Amongst his twelve cousins, he was the one everyone was excited to spend time with. For 29 years those who knew him have been blessed with his contagious laughter, zest for adventure, comforting hugs, empathetic ear, and quite a few mischievous pranks. To his parents, he was their “tiger cub,” their biggest worry, their sweetest snuggler, and the person who could make them laugh more than anyone in the world. His family and friends are trying to cope knowing that Hunter is now in a better place, free of his 15-year battle with the beast of addiction. His family is forever grateful for having 29 years with their sweet, beautiful boy...but we would do anything to have even one more day.
We love you, Hunter...Forever and ever...
XOXO
Hunter is survived by his parents, Scott and Robin Venturelli, his sister, London Venturelli, and his large group of Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Everychild foundation in his name.

My greatest condolences. That story is so sad but inspiring that someone can be that inspiring and dedicated to the people around them if only I could have met him .

God bless your family. My son has been sober for 7 years now but I went through terrible things with him during his heavily addicted phase. Thank you for sharing your story. I pray you will find peace

I don't know you, or your beloved son Hunter however, having just watched a TV show that depicted Hunter as a struggling addict trying to get clean, I understand, to some degree the pain you have endured. In Hunter I see, from your words that he was a sensitive young man who felt everything more deeply. My younger sister who battled duel addictions, took her life at the age of 21. At the ages of 9 and just 12, we witnessed our mother die of her 5th heart attack. It was too much. When Beth passed she was the last member of my family. You grieve, each in your own way. There will come a time when you remember Hunter with smiles and laughter, I promise you. You learn to live with tremendous loss as time goes on.
I'm so sorry you lost your beautiful son. May the coming year bring you comfort, joy and peace. I've been on this journey for 44 years. Should you wish to, please don't hesitate to reach out to me anytime. With sincere sympathy to all who loved and miss Hunter.

Hunter was one of the first people I met when I arrived in Carbondale Colorado for rehab. I have never met a more positive and uplifting individual. Hunter always had the right words to say to get you out of whatever rut you were going through. It saddens me to learn of his passing but I will always remember and cherish the kindness and time Hunter took to be there for someone who needed it. Rest In Peace brother, you will be missed.
