My deepest sympathy to the Novodran family. The few times I had the pleasure of talking with Igor, he struck me as a man that enjoyed life to the fullest. His smile was contagious.

Lana, Stacia, Mr. And Mrs. Novodran, Oksana, Andrew, and family, please know our hearts are broken. We wish there was something we could say to ease your pain. Your beloved husband, father, son, and brother was taken to heaven much too soon! Please know you are in our hearts and prayers now and forever, as you have been since the day we had the wonderful fortune to meet you! May God Bless you, and may your family and friends comfort you until you see Igor's beautiful smile again.
To Igor: Thank you, for being such a wonderful friend, sharing the love you had for Lana, Stacia, your Dad and Mom, and your sister and her husband (so apparent in your smile and the way your eyes lit up each time you spoke of your family), your kindness, your integrity, your sense of humor, and the place engraved in our hearts with your name on it. You and Chad had such a wonderful bond to be treasured forever which only the two of you could ever understand. All our love to you, our dear friend, and your beautiful family. My blessings to you. I did not know him but feel like I did. I am also a pilot, a teacher (Professor at WVU) and an othodox christian.

I'm sure most people will acknowledge the shock and sadness we all felt hearing this sudden news, but the way in which I hope to remember Igor is by all of the happy memories I have shared with him, as well as by his tremendous personality. With his great passion for skating, he came to live in Germany as my full-time coach for a year of my skating life, and was by my side throughout some of my most successful times as a skater. He was also there through all of my injuries, and I know how much my mother, father, and especially I cherish the time he spent with us. I will always remember this competitive, driven man, as well as such a caring, kind soul that did everything for the people he loved and could not stop talking about his family - especially his beautiful daughter. Sending over a big smile and hug - Amani, Diane, and Samir.
