ILA WHITMAN MORGAN PENDLETON-Ila Whitman Morgan, 81, of Pendleton, S.C. died Friday April 11, 2008 at the Anderson Medical Center. She was born in Anderson County and the daughter of the late, Loise and Mamie Smith Whitman. She was also preceded by her husband, James "Bud" Lester Morgan, Brothers: Grady, Clem, Leonard, and James Whitman, Sisters: Estelle Roach and Cornelia Bowen. She was retired office manager for Morgan's Auto Repair in Pendleton. She is survived by Sons, Lester and Phillip Morgan, both of Pendleton, Brothers: Odell Whitman of Sandy Springs and Loise Whitman of Pendleton; Sisters: Janie Willis of Pendleton and Edith Hopson of Martin, GA; and four Grandchildren. Services will be conducted Monday April 14, 2008 at 3:00PM at the First Baptist Church of Pendleton Cemetery. The family will receive from 2:00 to 3:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
