ILENE GREENSTONE

I just did an on-line search for Ilene as I wanted to speak to her about a program that I am preparing. We had co-facilitated years ago. She was creative and had a wonderful presence with a great sense of humor. I looked up to her as her knowledge and her facilitation style were superb. Imagine my shock to find her obituary. I am writing because I want her family to know what a strong and positive impression she'd left on me that all these years later I thought of her as a resource as I am preparing a program on early childhood curriculum. I saw her last some years ago when I was traveling by car near Pittsburgh and we arranged to meet for a picnic lunch off of the turnpike! I send my deepest condolences. A tragic loss for us all.

Read in the Folk Music Society of NY newsletter about Ilene's passing. I'm sorry to learn the bad news. I want to convey my condolences and express my heartfelt sympathy to Ted and family.

Patricia and I offer our condolences to Ted and his family. I have fond memories of Ilene growing up with her brother and sisters. I will miss her so much.
