Ilona Kutscherenko Obituary
McCONNELSVILLE: Ilona E. Kutscherenko, 85 of McConnelsville, Ohio, died Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Riverside Landing Nursing and Rehabilitation in McConnelsville. She was born August 14, 1930 in Hungary, daughter of Josef and Theresa Kersco. She was a homemaker and loved gardening and working in her flower gardens. She especially loved being around her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her family. She was married on September 10, 1949 to Ivan Kutscherenko who died on July 25, 1977. She is survived by two daughters, Ila Wright and husband Ray of McConnelsville and Susan Kutscherenko of McConnelsville; three sons, John Kutscherenko of McConnelsville, Joe Kutscherenko and wife Karen of Beverly and Robert Kutscherenko of McConnelsville; Twelve grandchildren, Troy (Tabitha),Tara, Meredith, Andy (Jamie), and Courtney Kutscherenko, Sam (Amanda) Kutscherenko, Kelly (Greg) Byrer, Shanna (Harold) Ickes, Eric (Jennefer) Wright, Amanda Duskey, Alicia Davis and Brittney (Christian) Holden; twenty two great grandchildren; a sister Georgina (Willie) Wolfseher of Munich, Germany. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a son, Frank Kutscherenko and a great grandson, Emmett Wright. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the McConnelsville Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 pm on Monday at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly.
