Irene Elizabeth Balfour

Balfour, Irene Elizabeth (Abramson) Balfour, Irene Elizabeth (Abramson) late of Carlyle, formerly of Kipling passed away peacefully Wed. March 30 aged 93. Irene was predeceased by her husband, James Stuart Scotty Balfour, her siblings Arnold, Doris, Marie, Ross and Delvin( in infancy). She is survived by her 4 children, Andrew (Pat) of Kipling, SK and their family, Stuart (Brandi) Balfour, David (Jennifer) Balfour, Jillian (Benn) Armstrong, Richard, Regina, SK, Jeanne, Regina SK & her sons, Ian, Eric (Kat) & great grandson, Liam, Neil, Ajijic Mexico, one sister Elna Moffatt, Regina, SK, two sisters-in-law Verna Abramson, Revelstoke, BC; Marg Koenig, Abbotsford, BC. Irene was a loving & devoted wife & mother & a doting grandma.She was a tireless community worker & especially enjoyed singing in several choirs as well as gardening & playing bridge. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the summer of 2011. The family would like to thank all the staff at Moose Mountain Lodge for their loving & professional care while Irene resided there.
