Mrs. Champion was a much-loved teacher of mine at Fairforest back in the 60's. Notice of her passing brought back many memories of her as she was during those years. She was a wonderful teacher and an inspiration to those who were privileged to have been taught by her. Rest in peace Mrs. Champion - and save your former students a place in your heavenly classroom.

As I looked down the obituaries, the name Irene Champion jumped out at me. When I saw her picture, I realized she was a teacher at Fairforest High School when I went there. Even though I never had her as a teacher, I still remember her. Rest in peace Mrs. Champion.

My deepest condolences to your family during this most difficult time. There are no words that can ease the pain of losing someone so beloved. May you find comfort and peace in knowing that your loved one is in God's memory, because those who pass on are precious in his eyes. Psalms 116:15.
