Irene S. Feldman

Irene Shirley (Kriger) Feldman of Florida and Massachusetts entered into rest on May 23, 2023 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Saul Feldman. Devoted mother of Garry L. Feldman and his wife Eileen, Cindy Pinter and her husband David, Susan Whitney and her husband David, Janice Krim and her husband Andrew, and Larry Feldman and his wife Claire Malarte Feldman. Loving sister of Milton Kriger. Dear grandmother of eleven and great-grandmother of ten. Irene is predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Rebecca Kriger; sister, Beatrice Levine Gondelman; first husband, Milton Allen Silverman; and her cherished grandchild, Noah.

Irene was born in Roxbury in 1929. After a few years on a farm in Sherborn, her family moved to Dorchester, and she graduated from Jeremiah E. Burke High School. After raising their family in Massachusetts, Irene and Saul owned a furniture store in West Palm Beach. She loved gardening - especially tending her orchids, playing golf, and playing bridge. She taught her grandchildren to play poker. Above all, she loved spending time with her large and loving family.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 25 at 12:45 PM at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon. Attendees will gather at the cemetery administration building between Noon and 12:30 PM.
