Peter A. Fotia Jr. Retired NJ Transit mechanic Peter A. Fotia Jr., 62, of Linden, N.J., passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, from the Werson Funeral Home, 635 No. Wood Ave., Linden, at 9:15 a.m. A Funeral Mass is in St. John the Apostle Church, Clark/Linden, N.J., at 10 a.m. Entombment is in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, N.J. Peter was born in Elizabeth, N.J., and was a lifelong Linden resident. He was employed by NJ Transit in Newark, N.J., as a mechanic for over 30 years, retiring in 2010. Peter was predeceased by his father, Peter A. Fotia, on Aug. 1, 2003. He is survived by his mother, Anna (Machise) Fotia, and his sister, Joanne Kozak and her husband, Joseph. Peter is also survived by three nephews, Joseph Kozak and his wife, Claribel; Christopher Kozak and his wife, Christine, and Michael Kozak and his wife, Erika, and great-nieces and nephews.
