Dearest Sara, Jean, John, Elio and Family,
Accept our sincere condolences for your mother, sister, grandmother and aunt
Our correspondence through her beautiful handmade letters will never be forgotten. She was very proud of all of you and your accomplishments, in particular, her dear Sara. Through the years, Irene shared with us several photos and even one of Sara's rughooking projects, which we cherished. Our distance in miles did not deter Irene from being there in spirit with us, her cousins, celebrating births, weddings and even in times of loss. She was always compassionate and emphathetic to all our present experiences. As a family of teachers, we shared with Irene a strong devotion and love for teaching and ensuring that each one of our individual students reach their God given potential and share with society their unique gifts, as Irene did. She truly touched many students, now grown up men and women, in her 50 years of teaching. We only hope we can as well.
Our love and prayers are with you all. Irene is going home to our Heavenly Father, where she will once again re-unite with her beloved husband Harold, mother and father, brother Michael, sister Celestina and all our beloved family members.
Sincerely, Cousin Maria, Graziella, Michael, Raffaele, Linda and family

Dear Sara, Jean, John, Elio and Family, We are very saddened by Irene's passing. We will surely miss her outgoing personality, lively conversations and her sincere concern for family and friends. My mother Santina, now 93, often spoke fondly of their early years shared together in Friuli, Italy. Irene always made a particular effort to keep in touch with extended family near and far. We join our prayers with her soul and ask for God's peace for all her family and friends. Our thoughts are with you as are our wonderful memories of Irene. God Bless. Santina and Rechilde Volpatti

My sincere condolences to the family for your loss. God's Word says that "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." How we long for God to undo all the heartache death has brought.
May you continue to find comfort in God's Word and in the love you have for each other.
