McCALLUM, IRENE AGNES
"GRANNY"
Irene Agnes McCallum was born in San Francisco, CA on September 24, 1909 and passed away peacefully in her Meadow Vista home on September 15, 2002 with her family at her side. Irene, beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother is survived by her daughter Norma Klinghardt; son-in-law Gary Klinghardt; grandchildren Marc Stuetzel and Lee Sims, her husband Floyd Sims; great-grandchildren Natalie and Amy Cull, Amelia, Allegra and Ezra Stuetzel, and Jamee and Sarah Sims; and her brother Robert McGrath. Irene is now reunited with her husband Eric Armstrong McCallum and sisters Sally, Dot and Gladys. Irene loved to cook, crochet, play cards and watch baseball. A retiree of the DMV, Irene also volunteered as a pink lady for Auburn Faith Hospital where she took great pride in knitting hats and booties for the newborns. Her laughter, warm smile, and wonderful sense of humor will be treasured forever by her loving family and friends. Donations can be made in her memory to Sutter Auburn Faith Hospice.
