PRINCETON — Irene Morgan Perry, 84, of the GlenWood Park Retirement Village, a former resident of 602 Gayle St. in Princeton, died Saturday, March 1, 2008, at her residence.Born in Baileysville, W.Va., May 15, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Bernie and Ella Spurlock Frye. Irene was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith and had been a resident of Princeton since 2003 moving here from Brenton, W.Va.In addition to her parents, her first husband, James E. “Jimmy” Perry; one sister, Beatrice Bolen and four brothers, Paul, Jack, Arnold and Billy Frye preceded her in death.Survivors include her second husband, J.P. Morgan of Brenton, W.Va.; four daughters, Eva Daniel and her husband Richard of Seagrove, N.C., Glenna Day and her husband Joseph of Princeton, Faith Barbara Ella Abraham and her husband James of High Point, N.C. and Mary Patricia Rae Lambert and her husband Randall of Asheboro, N.C.; four sons, Eustace Bernie “Buck” Perry and his wife Betty of Tazewell, Va., James Randall Perry and his wife Donna of Starr, N.C., Burton Lee Perry and his wife Vivian of Princeton and Paul Dean Perry and his wife Judy of Seagrove, N.C.; 25 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald Frye and his wife Karen of Amherst, W.Va. and four sisters, Melloney McGrady of Lexington, Ky., Ruby Jewell Trivette and her husband Carson of New Jersey, Nina Lou Huffman of Marion, Va. and Mary Meade of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2008, at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Denver McClellan officiating. Entombment will follow in Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Va. Mrs. Morgan was so kind, and gently spoken. I loved working with her at Glenwood she always made my day brighter when she smiled or laughed at me. She was a very sweet and loving lady and I'm glad I got a chance to work with her. my sympathy goes out to the family. I want ever forget that beautiful Angel. Love Monica S.

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Rene's passing. I can remember what she said when she heard about daddy. Now she can be with all of them. I do have fond memories of the families being together.
