Irene passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 3, 2015 at the age of 89 after a brief illness. Loving mother of John (Donna), Frank (Ruth), Peter (Lucie), Julie (Luc) and Mike (Devon). She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Fred. She was predeceased by her brothers Fred and Joe and her sisters Flori, Annie and Stella. Irene will be remembered for her nurturing spirit, sense of humour and warm smile. A heart-felt thank you to the staff at Villa Marconi for their care and support. My sincere condolences. Irene was a very special lady. She had the biggest heart and loved everyone.
She loved to help people and make them happy. She was the life of the party. I will always remember her singing and dancing at the activities at Walden Village. I can still picture her and her friend Toni sitting out front on the swing enjoying the sunshine.
She was very fortunate to have a wonderful loving family. She loved them and enjoyed spending time with them. I feel privileged to have shared
a friendship with her. I will miss her phone calls.
