Mimi, we were best friends since age 15 and into the late 80's. Then we lost touch. I lived the life with you that you were going to put in your book. Those satin Chinese dresses! I am in shock to hear of your passing. I can't believe it. And this is so soon after your sister Kathy died a tragic death. We just had a gang reunion. Bunny, me, Matt, Rudy and Jennifer. I was going to call to invite you. We spoke of you and Kathy often. We went to Matt's afterwards to look at slides. So many wonderful pictures of us all from the 70's. We will all miss you both and I will miss you both. Im so glad I ran into you at the Seaport and got to see you play with Liquid X. What an accomplished guitarist you had become.! I was amazed! And all self taught. Love you honey. Always remember the eclairs at the Silver Star diner. Love always, Sandy

Remembering you today. Such a sweet person.

Vinny: my name is Greg. I knew Mimi well for the last 7-yrs. of her life... She had quietly fought breast-cancer the past year and a-half of her life, which spread quickly in the end to other-parts of her body during the last 2-months. She died in her sleep, with another friend & home-hospice worker by her side.

Mimi had an uncanny sense for what made art great. She felt things deeply. Hoping that where you are, your soul is still holding the piece of my heart that belongs to you. Your 'Richie'

So sad to hear about the passing of such a sweet, thoughtful person as Mimi.

I only met a her a few years back when she asked me to sing one of her songs, "Torn To Pieces".

Hearing of her passing does just that to me. She was a wonderful, encouraging human being.

She will be greatly missed.....Myke

Mimi, I am so glad we reconnected. I'm so happy Poppa John would bring you around and that we got to play together again. You're so talented and beautiful. We almost got that new project off the ground. May you rest with Christ our Lord.
