I was honored and proud to serve as Irving's national secretary during his tenure as Rakkasan President. What a great guy. His loyalty and integrity were unquestionable. Ruth and I want to extend our condolences to the family.
He was, Airborne, Rakkasan and All The Way.

Today I learned of Irv´s passing. He was always a true Rakkasan He served in the 187th Airborne Infantry Regiment in Korea. He was instrumental in founding the National Rakkasan Association. He was critical to the formation and growth of the Association. He was a leader and a friend. Rest in peace fellow Rakkasan until we form again. Let Valor Not Fail

Ranger Irv...you took this young Paratrooper under your wing in 1992
Me and my wife Debbie were treated as family by you and Mrs Sylvia, not to mention Howard Riggs and the rest of the Ranger Rakkassan Family. We attended every Rakkassan Reunion here in Jax and it was one of the Greatest Honors of my life being your friend. Some of our Fondest visits to Miami always culminated with a visit and many hours of talking at your house
You always spoke straight and true to me for 30 plus years and I will Truly miss your laughter and guidance. Thank you for Everything, Rangers Lead The Way and Airborne Brother
