Irwan Daniel Sanusi M.D.

What a wonderful professor, mentor, and human being. I am greatly saddened to learn of his passing. The skills I use daily in my medical practice are in part, directly attributable to the genuinely exceptional interest and effort Dr. Sanusi placed on the teaching of students. I and many will miss him.

Dr. Sanusi was a great teacher. He was very devoted to resident skin pathology teaching. And he was very friendly and humorous. I was a former resident in LSUHSC-Shreveport. I just heard the sad news from a faculty member yesterday. I was very shocked. Dr. Sanusi will always be in my memory.

I am saddened to hear of your family's lost. My prayers are with you.

Sad to hear of his untimely death but fortunate to have enjoyed his major contributions to Pathology and Dermatology at LSUHSC-S.

Dan Sanusi: What a fine husband, father, teacher and Friend. He was always consistently approachable and teaching and sought out humor whenever he could. IF the situation demanded seriousness, he'd comply. But, he loved teaching and laughing and smiling and his Marina and August and David and Monica and Friends.
On his shoulders many many many doctors ride . . . He is a Giant among Few.
I'll miss you and you'll miss my famous Gyn shot in pool we played at Confederate Memorial Medical Center on 9th Floor in 1979. You laughed and laughed and laughed.
