George Crone Obituary
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Winifred S. "Wini" Brooks Crone, George T. Crone, III and his wife, Yvette, Matthew Crone and Beth Crone Jones and her husband Phil; grandchildren, Geordie, Barrett, Reaghan, Colleen and Emily; brothers, Marion C. Crone, Ralph J. Crone and Eugene Crone.
Cremation has been chosen. A memorial visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany. His memorial service will be held 7:00 pm Wednesday at the Kraft Chapel with private entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy to: American Cancer Society.

It was always great to see George at our Sunday tennis sessions, even after he stopped playing, and he was the life of the party at our Christmas lunches. All his tennis buddies are going to miss him.

I'm terribly sorry to hear that Mr Crone has passed away. I came to know him by selling him Nissans and we established a friendship and I will miss him very much. My prayers are with his family at this time. God Bless

Wini and Family,
I wanted to let you know that we all are thinking about you all and praying that at this time you realize that Peewee was a bright light in all of our eyes. The kids have all expressed many of the kind things he would say and do; they loved his sincere greetings he always bestowed on them. "Who are these goodlooking kids"! God Bless all of you.

I worked with George for many years and he always was a true professional. I can honestly say I never met a person who did not like George. He was a class act and he will be missed. My deepest sympathy goes out to his entire family.
