Isabel V. De La Torre, age 74, passed on January 26, 2017 in Dallas, TX. She was born on November 19, 1942 in Dallas, TX to Angel and Natividad Velasquez. Isabel was raised in Dallas, TX and attended St. Ann Catholic School. Isabel was married to Manuel De La Torre Sr. for over 40 years and they had 3 children. She was a dedicated Wife and Mother.
In her spare time Isabel enjoyed being with her family especially her grandchildren. Isabel was a devout catholic and dedicated her life to prayer and service. Even though she suffered from chronic pain the last thirty years her devotion to helping family,friends, and neighbors never stopped.
Isabel will always be remembered as a woman with a giving heart who always showed her sweet loving kindness to all those she met and welcomed with open arms.
She is preceded in death by: Her husband Manuel De La Torre Sr. and her son Alfonso De La Torre. She is survived by: Her oldest son Manuel De La Torre Jr. , daughter Regina E. Rosales, son in law Alfredo S. Rosales Jr; 2 grandchildren Alfredo De La Torre Rosales III and Jenna Isabel Rosales; brothers Richard Velasquez and John Abelar; sisters Margaret Alonzo, Angelina Carreon, Gloria Vasquez and Guadalupe Loredo.
