My condolences to Isabel's family. Isabel was my neighbor on Remington Court. She was a wonderful person, kind, thoughtful, funny, helpful, intelligent, generous, and a good friend. If more people were like her, this world would be a better place. May she rest in peace.

It is with profound regret that I learned of Isabel's passing. I was away and could not attend the funeral.
Isabel was a true mentor to me during my time in the "downtown" office, always ready to listen and always thinking of the "kids" first. She leaves behind a rich legacy.
She will be missed!

Aussie & Family,
So sorry to hear of her passing. I remember as a little girl, when she would be home, she was always so pretty & nice to us kids in the neighbourhood. That was a few years ago!
My deepest sympathy to you all.

Isabel was an amazing woman: a wonderful friend to my mother, and I knew her from my earliest memory. She was so independent, ahead of her time, and still such a caring person to all! She is someone that we all wanted to grow up to be. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her!

I am very saddened to hear of Isabel's death. She seemed to always to be there when I was a youth. I had the good fortune to have her teach me in Grade 4. She would send me to the Wheel for an egg salad sandwich ten minutes before dismissal.
Joe A and I took the train to NG to visit Margaret. Guess who was home and she spoiled both of us. We walked to Trenton Road but we drove to the train station.
I always enjoyed visiting with her in Halifax. Mamie and Aus would stay with her, especially on LeMerchand St. Mamie and Isabel would be on the deck smoking and enjoy time tegether. Lots of memories - all pleasant.
I always considered the NG MacDonalds as my adopted family. For some reason, each of you left memories in my head when I stayed with you. We will remember Isabel's hospitality and friendship. Take care of each other during this unfortunate time. I hope to see you on Monday.
God bless.

Isabel was my first cousin and she always took an interest in my education and well-being. When I got my first teaching job in Halifax she had me stay in her apartment until I could afford to move into my own place. I know she was just as kind to everyone. May she rest in peace.

To the MacDonalds & Camerons. So sorry to hear about the passing of Isabel. A class act, if ever there was. I'm sure mom had a cup of tea waiting for her upon her arrival. Sorry, I won't be there, but, you're all in our thoughts and prayers.
