WILSON, ISABEL Isabel Wilson, 65, of Dixwell Ave. New Haven, CT passed away on Nov. 28, 2013. She was born to the late Vernon and Esther Lee (Stewart) McKoy on May 4, 1948 in Fayetteville, NC. Isabel enjoyed family and volunteering at her church. She leaves to cherish her memory; son, Tommy Wilson (Lahwana) of Bloomfield; daughter, Paula McKoy of New Haven; sisters, Esther, Doris and Jean McKoy; 5 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son, Dwayne McCray, and two brothers, Vernon McKoy, Jr. and Lennis McKoy. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 11AM at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1324 Chapel St. New Haven, CT 06511. Calling hours will be from 10-11am at the church. Interment will be private. Services by Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel St., New Haven, CT 06511. I am so sorry for your lost. I worked with Ms. Isabel, she was a rare person she always projected a steady calming presence. After talking/speaking with her I always felt better no matter the circumstance. She will be greatly missed by all. She has earned her wings May your heart be filled with all the wonderful memories and laughter you shared. God bless you.
