SLIGHT Isabelle (nee Anderson) (Sighthill)
Unexpectedly but peacefully, at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, on Friday, December 30, 2016. Isabelle, beloved wife of the late Bill, loving mum and best friend to Stephen, Shirley and Ian, proud and loving nana of Shiree and Daryl, dear mother-in-law to Jim and Amanda, dear friend of Tracie, Rachel and David, loving sister to her family and a good friend to many. Will be sorely missed. Funeral service will be held at Warriston Crematorium, Cloister Chapel, on Saturday, January 14, at 1.30 pm, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. A retiral collection will be taken in aid of Multiple Sclerosis Scotland.

Mum more sad news, Rachel's mum Elaine has sadly passed away, as you can imagine we are all devastated for Elaine and her family, wee Harper Rooney is going to grow up without her Granny by her side, when I think how much you and Dad loved Shiree & Daryl and they yous it just breaks my heart that Harper will miss all the years her and Elaine should have spent together, it's just so sad and unfair. love and miss you always. Mum, sad news your brother Archie passed away and his funeral is today, due to Covid 19 only 20 people can attend, Jim and I have been invited, sadly there won't be as many attending as there would have been under normal circumstances but am sure he'll have a nice service. love and miss you everyday Shirley xx

Mum we lost our wee Hugo today, he become unwell a few weeks ago and it turned out to be lung cancer, as you know he was a brilliant dog and we all loved him to bits, we are all in shock and devastated to say the least. Please look out for him and look after him for us love and miss you Shirley xx

Hi Mum so sorry I forgot to say Happy mother's day on sunday my head is just full of mince at the mo, I hope you liked the card and flowers I left for you, Dad to, can't believe it's six years since we lost him, miss you both so much. Well, Jean is on her way, we lost her yesterday such a shock, she went for another operation on her broken arm and never came through it, shes had such a hard time since January after breaking her arm and agreeing to take part in a trial which was her downfall I just hope it wasn't all in vain and that things have been learned from her but who no's as dr's keep things close to their chests and no one can give us answers. sleep tight mum not a day goes by that I don't think about you. Mum, to say life has been a challange the last six months is an understatement! We will get through all the rubbish that's getting thrown at us but oh how I wish you where here to help. Jean is having such a hard time, broke her arm, agreed to participate in a trial and now its gone pair shaped, she's been in hospital for ages and they can't seem to get her better. Shiree has moved house, ud b so proud of her but there again you n Dad always were. Both babies doing well and are a joy to have. Love and miss you always Shirley xx

Hi Mum, wee hugo doing well on three legs still recovering as its only been 2 weeks he's such a good wee dog.
