Isobel was one of a kind! Biggest heart, and best cook! Stan must have been doing a happy dance to see you again! Rest in peace Izzy!

My Mom was a very special Lady. She was so giving and helpful to those she knew and loved as well as strangers. Never worry about going hungry when you are with Isobel. We will miss you Mom!

Isobel was my first exposure to a "modern women" who did dual duty of both working and raising a family. I always thought her to be very cool for that and enjoyed when Jim and I would go downtown to visit her for a quick hello and then she would give us change to go for a treat at the Malt Shop in the Hudsons Bay Store. I remember her as a strong women with a frank and honest opinion who took good care of Stan and the boys.
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Jim, Rick, Dave and family.

I hope she rests in peace, as someone close to me also passed away recently and that familiar feeling of losing a loved one is manifesting itself once again...

Isobel and my Mom, Beatrice Hunter, became great friends when they both worked at Oliver Lodge. Definitely a great chef. She will be missed.

My mother was unselfish and caring with a huge heart. I will miss her dearly along with many others. Always had an extra plate of food for anyone that stopped by.
