Edward J. Dunphy Jr. Died on August 30, 2009 Milford, Ma. - Edward J. Dunphy, Jr., 54, recently of Milford Ma died Sunday, August 30, 2009 unexpectedly at home after a long battle with Diabetes. He had been convalescing after a major car accident nearly three years ago. His greatest joy came from time with and the smiles of his sons. Watching them grow and bragging on their accomplishments made him proud and filled his life. His other passions included Patriots Football, playing pool, politics and reading. He is survived by three wonderful sons, Mike Dunphy of Uxbridge Ma, Jake Dunphy and Seth Dunphy of Sterling CT as well as three siblings, Cathy Marcotte of Chepachet, RI, Donna Therrien of Millville, Ma and Dan Dunphy of Indio, Ca. He is the son of the late Edward J. Dunphy Sr. and Helen L. (Degnan) Dunphy. His ability to brighten a room and inspire hope will be greatly missed. His easy manor and contagious laugh will be sorely missed by all. A celebration of his life and remembrance mass will be held at St. Augustine's Church on Central Street, Millville on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009 at noon.
