Ivan J Cook

J Cook Ivan J Cook, age 86, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2025, at Lincoln Court in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He was born on October 26, 1938, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Phineas Leo Cook and Thelma Leavitt. Ivan attended Bonneville High School, where he completed his education. On November 7, 1958, he married Colleen Byram Cook, beginning a life of companionship and shared adventures. Ivan's professional life was spent at Circle C Equipment, where he dedicated his time and skills. Throughout his life, Ivan resided in various locations, including Rigby, Idaho, Basin City, Washington, Pasco, Washington, Echo, Oregon, Hermiston, Oregon; and Idaho Falls, Idaho, each place holding special memories and connections. A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ivan found great fulfillment in his faith and service. His hobbies included investing, a keen interest in farm equipment, hunting, fishing, and missionary work. These activities brought him joy and allowed him to connect with people and serve others. Services will be held Thursday May 22, 2025, at 11:00am at the Ucon Idaho LDS Chapel (10854 North 41 East Ucon, Idaho 83401). A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:30-10:45am. The internment will be at the Ucon Cemetery (3960 105th North, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83401)
