Ivory Scott Sr, age 46, of Kenner, La, passed away on May 23, 2024. He was born on August 19, 1977.

Ivory grew up in a Christian household and loved to worship the Lord. He was baptized at Seventh Day Adventist Church. Ivory loved sports, singing, and spending time with his family. He shared his love for football with his two sons.

Ivory was an Alumni of Bonnabel High School where he played on the football team, leaving a lasting impact #23.

He is survived by his loving parents Laura Cornish Brown Sanford and Isiah Brown. His greatest gifts his children Ivory Jr. (Sarahi), Avery Sr., and Angelica (Jelly) Scott, along with their mother Angela Glover. He adored his four grandsons Avery Jr., Ivory 3, Eziah, and Kaysen Scott. Ivory is also survived by his loving sisters Carletta Sebro, Annastacia, and Catherine Tucker, and his brothers Michael (Tammy) and Isiah (Deidra) Cornish. He was preceded in death by his brothers Sylvester (Nucky) and Carlise Cornish, and his grandparents.

Ivory had a heart of gold, even after death, as he was able to donate his organs.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend services on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Emmanuel Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1022 S. Bengal Road, Metairie, La 70003. Visitations starting at 2:00pm.

Rest in peace, Ivory. Your memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved you.

Angie, this does not seem real. My deepest sympathy for you and the kids. I know how much Ivory meant to you. And you to him. I will never forget the wonderful memories us three share. Boy did we have some good times. Try to hold on to those and be there for those babies. I love you so much. Get your rest Ivory, and watch over your beautiful babies.

Ivory I was hurt when I read our niece story on Facebook. But your present with The Lord, Ivory I remember when you Ikey and Nucky won me a chain at the Super fair in 95 I broke my neck out but I was grateful that yal won it for me. I will forever keep that memory get your rest fam
