J. Guadalupe Luna

J. Guadalupe "Lupe" Luna, 81, of Aurora, passed away Thursday February 24, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 7, 1941 in Edcouch, Texas, son of Pedro and Epimenia (Espinosa) Luna. Lupe pursed a career as a Mechanic for many years before becoming a Fabricator for Belson Manufacturing; where he worked for 25+ years. He enjoyed collecting cars; his 2 favorite were a couple vintage Cadillacs. Lupe enjoyed working on cars, carpentry and being an all around Mr. Fix–it. He was a member of the Latin American Club for 60+ years, but most of all Lupe enjoyed spending time with family and friends; especially with his grandchildren. He is survived by 3 sons; Adam (Selene), Eliasar, Noel, 1 daughter: Dalia, 28 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. 1 sister, Juanita and 1 brother Pedro Jr. Lupe is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 38 years, Amelia, 2 sisters; Olivia (the late Elias) Lechuga, Olga Luna, a daughter Linda Luna – Garcia and a nephew Pedro Luna III. Family will be receiving guests Thursday March 3, 2022 from 3pm to 7pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway in Montgomery. Funeral service Friday March 4, 2022 at 11am at the funeral home.
