I am very sorry to hear of Neil's passing. He was a great guy and a very interesting man. I knew Neil through our John Oliver High School and South Vancouver History Project and Clan MacLeod. My condolences to Neil's family and friends.

Neil guided a generation of undergraduates, graduate students, and fellow academics across Canada and beyond to be the best they could be. We are in his debt and have his family in our thoughts during this difficult time.
