Eddie had a big heart. He was a good friend at Westside. Taught me how to play defensive end. RIP with Christ your Savior.

Family and Friends,
We will all miss Eddie. He was a pleasure to know and inspired us in the way he lived his life. My children and I are deeply saddened by the loss of James Eddie. We loved Eddie very much.

Sharon, although I wasn't able to attend the service, know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the girls. You are blessed to have shared the love of J Eddie....may the memories and the continued presence of that love comfort you in the days ahead.

Eddie, will be missed and remembered by all who new him. I am honored to have called him my friend.

I am happy to have been present for the celebration of J.Eddie's life. Such a sad time ultimately was a beautiful experience. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I am deeply saddened to know that Eddie has passed away. I was privileged to have attended school with Eddie from Elementary to our High School graduation. I will truly miss your husband and my friend. God Bless you and your family.

I'll miss Eddie. I trained him at Fedex about Logos (the maintenance computer system). I don't know how he ever finished anything with all those trips to Nashville, etc. for the Jaycees. We had the same birthdays 2/17.

J. Eddie was a great person and I have such great memories of him. Take comfort in knowing he's in a better place and one day you'll all be together again. My thoughts and prayers are with you now.

May peace be with your family in this time of sorrow. I was president of Franklin County Jaycees when J. Eddie was state president. I have many fond memories of him and was fortunate to have learned so many leadership skills from him that I still use today. I will be unable to attend the memorial service tomorrow, but know that my heart will be with you.
