I have written in here a couple of times, but you and your family are always in the back of my mind, and I have been looking for my old phone where I had your number, and for the life of me I just cannot find it. Angela, This whole nightmare was just that until this morning when I read the obituary. I called Pam immediately to confirm, because I have not seen or spoken to you in so long, I didn't know you had a little girl as well. Now that nightmare seems so magnified. I don't even know what words you could find comforting at this time. I cannot even imagine the heartbreak, grief, anger you must feel. I know I would be beside myself if my two little ones were ripped away from me. Please know I am thinking of you and praying so very hard for you and your family. Angela,
I am so sorry for your loss. Jace and Jersey were amazing children. Jace was a role model at Eagle Point Elementary to so many of his fellow students. I will never forget that little wink that Jace would give you before he pulled a fast one on someone, or the way Jersey would smile when her brother was walking up to the car after a long day at school. I was blessed to have known Jace and Jersey and I will hold them in my heart forever. It was great to talk with your mom and dad and get to know them. I can see where you get your strength from. I look forward to the day we planned to get together and if you need anything before that date you can call and I will try to help. I will continue to keep you and your family in my thoughts and payers.

Know that Jersey and Jace will always be rememebered. The Oakdale 6th Grade football teams wore logos on their helmets the last couple weeks of the season with the initials JD&JD in memory of Jace and Jersey. Jace's friends and classmates on the teams wanted to make sure Jace knew they were not going to forget their buddy and his sister.

Angela, our hearts ache for you and your family. Jersey was such a light and inspiration to both our kids, she helped put Koen at ease with his first days of kindergarten by being such a courageous spirit ready to conquer the world, and she was a great "big sister" figure for Tessa.
