Jack T. Bartley LEBANON, Va. Mr. Jack T. Bartley, born Sept. 17, 1952, in Pike County, Ky., died Nov. 14, 2009. Jack was the son of Jack T. and Grethel Bartley. He was preceded in death by his mother, Grethel Bartley. Jack served his country with four years of service in the U.S. Navy and was employed with the U.S. Department of Labor and Mine Safety and Health Administration. Jack is survived by his father, Jack T. Bartley, Bristol Virginia; a son, John T. Bartley; and a daughter, Jacklyn Rena Bartley, both of Lebanon, Va.; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Gary Malone, Bristol Virginia; sisters, Jill Bartley Coakley, Glade Spring, Va., Jane Bartley Ball, Bristol Virginia. Jack's extended family, friends and co-workers mourn along with his immediate family. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 246, Abingdon, VA 24212; or to the Midway Baptist Church, 21318 Old Dominion Road, Bristol, VA 24202. Those wishing to express sympathy online or sign the guest may do so by visiting www.farrisfuneralservice.com The family will receive friends Monday from 5 until 8 p.m in the Farris Funeral Service, Main Street Chapel, 427 East Main St., Abingdon, VA A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday. Farris Funeral Service, Main Street Chapel, 427 East Main St., Abingdon, VA is serving the Bartley family.
