Major Jack V. Brewer, a proud veteran of the USAF and NSA, passed on from this life June 9, 2024. The son of Lisle and Lavina Brewer, grew up in Elk City, Oklahoma and spent his military career traveling the world in the service of his country. The Major's expertise was Military Intelligence, for which he was awarded numerous medals, honors, and accolades. He spent his later years splitting his time between San Marcos, Texas and Island Park, Idaho. Jack is survived by his three children: Jack Brewer Jr, Denise Brewer & Paul (Leslie) Brewer along with his grandchildren: Patrick, Jacob, Riley, Aidan, Sean, and Kaitlin. He will live on in our hearts as our loving father, grandpa, and friend. He was our hero and one tough SOB. He will be buried with his parents and sister in Elk City, OK.

His love of harmonies and music runs through my blood. No matter where we were stationed Dad sang in the choir. I would focus on his beautiful voice and was mesmerized by the intricate parts coming together to create such beauty.
I remember him manning the record player and how much fun we had singing aland listening to The Mamas & The Papas, Linda Rhonstadt, and Jim Croce.
Because of Dad, the love of music is a big part of our family.
