BUNTON, Jack D. - of Millington, age 67, passed away peacefully at his residence on April 24, 2010. Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 5224 N. Belsay Rd., Flint, Pastor James Gosnell officiating. Entombment to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Friends may call at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Tuesday from 12-4 and 6-9PM. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family or Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Jack was born on October 19, 1942 in Elizabethton, Tennessee. He had a beautiful singing voice, and could play multiple instruments. In his younger years, he played in many local establishments and VFW and American Legion events. Later he could be found in his church singing and playing Gospel songs of praise to the Lord he loved. Jack was loved and respected by all of his church family. As long as his health permitted, Jack could be found volunteering and working at various church functions. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by: wife of 31 � years, Rachel; daughter, Christine (Doug) Baechler; grandchildren, David Rowlett, Brandon Taylor, Austin and Alyssa Bunton, Dougie and Brandie Baechler; daughter-in-law, Laura Bunton; brothers, Jim (Gale) Bunton, Dale (Connie) Bunton, Ulis (June) Bunton; sister, Daisy Silkett; many nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, good family friends; four legged buddies, "Moose" Princess, Baby, Fancy Pants and Lucy. He was preceded in death by his son, Jack Jr., loving parents, Spencer and Margie and brother, Dallas Bunton.
