On Monday, July 25, 2016, in his eighty- eighth year. Devoted husband of Ethel (Ettie) for sixty-five years. Loving father and father- in-law of Gary Caron, Mark and Pam Caron, Mitchell Caron, Staci and Brad Kalmek. Cherished grandfather of Elyssa and Kenny Abramovitch, Stewart and Jessica Caron, Amanda Caron and Peter Garbacz; Michelle Caron and Ryan Abramovitch, Abbey and Erin Kalmek. Proud great-grandfather of Rylee and Ben, Austin and Chase. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Sylvia and Sam Chadnick, the late Rose Zeitz, Ruth and the late Harry Shaffer, Molly and the late Meyer Daitchman, the late Shirley and the late Howard Finkleberg, Bernice Halperin, Ida and Jack Shein. Jack will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the Jewish General Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Thursday, July 28 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Russian Polish Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane.
