Jack CHEROT Obituary
On August 13, 2017, Mr. Henri "Jack" Cherot of Smoky Lake passed away at the age of 86 years.
Mr. Cherot is survived by his special friend, Paulette; children, Walter Cherot, Zelpha Melnyk and Keith (Susan) Cherot; grandchildren, Joshua Melnyk, Amanda Melnyk (Steffen Rasmussen) and Melissa Melnyk (Tyler Halliday-Ostash); great- grandchildren, Sophia Halliday-Ostash and Lars Rasmussen; sister, Lorraine (Emile) Morin of Calgary.
Jack was predeceased by his parents Emile and Celestine; son-in-law, Michael; numerous brothers and sisters, Emile Jean, Leon, Robert, Albert "Bert", Helen Yeudall, Marie (Brandle) Sharp.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Park Memorial Funeral Home (9709-111 Ave NW), Edmonton. Mr. Todd Reinholt will be officiating with inurnment to follow at Little Mountain Cemetery, Edmonton (16025-50 Street NW). Cremation has taken place.

Dear Walter,Zelpha, keith, and extended family.I am very sorry to hear about your loss. I did not know uncle Jack that well, but what I knew of him, he was a very nice man. I think of you guys often, and hope you are all well. Take care, Maureen.
