Jack Lewis Dudley

Retired Field Representative Services for Jack Lewis Dudley were Monday at 11 a.m. at DeKalb Presbyterian Church, with the Revs. Sam Hull and Richard Williams officiating. Burial was in Pinecrest Cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Dudley, 69, of DeKalb, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, in Meridian. He was a retired field representative for Livingston Stock Yard. Mr. Dudley was a member of Scooba Methodist Church, the National Rifle Association and the National Wild Turkey Federation. He was an avid outdoorsman, horseman and cattleman. Mr. Dudley was a former national and state Wild Turkey Calling Champion. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Mary Winner Dudley of DeKalb; a daughter, Melinda Dudley Brown and her husband, Bill, of Macon; a son, Michael Jack Dudley and his wife, Sheila, of DeKalb; a brother, John Evan Dudley of Tennessee; and four grandchildren, Ross Brown, Reid Brown, Austin Dudley and Barrett Dudley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pamelia Smith and Willard Knox Dudley Sr.; and a brother, Willard Knox Dudley Jr. Pallbearers were Ross Brown, Reid Brown, Austin Dudley, Barrett Dudley, Bud Brown, John McRae, Bo Bennett and Jim VanDevender.
