Jack Moran Hamlin

Funeral services for Jack Moran Hamlin, 75, of Muskogee will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Chaplain Lisa Sowers officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.Jack Moran Hamlin was born February 15, 1934 in Eureka Springs, AR, the son of Walter Hamlin and Inez (Whitner) Hamlin and died April 9, 2009 in Muskogee. He married JoAnn Martin who preceded him in death. He served his country in the United States Army. Jack was the inventor of Hamlin's White Sauce and franchise owner of Hamlin's El Toro. He and his late wife JoAnn took over Hamlin's. He enjoyed playing golf and driving fast cars.Survivors include his daughters, Shelle Hamlin of Muskogee, OK, Katherine Tranum of Dallas, TX; two brothers, Bob Hamlin and wife Sherry Hamlin of Muskogee, OK; Paul Hamlin of Muskogee, OK; two grandchildren, Garrett Wilson of Dallas, TX, Amber Tranum of Tulsa, OK, and one niece and one nephew. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to PAWS Promoting Animal Welfare Society, P.O. Box 1525, Muskogee, OK 74402.
